ISA East Triathlon

On Friday 5th October twelve budding triathletes departed for Woodlands School in Essex to take part in the annual ISA East Triathlon. Triathlon wise, this was an inexperienced group, with only two children having done a triathlon before and only one having competed in the East Triathlon.

The children were eager and were soon into the thick of it. Once the bikes had been measured, they were changed and ready for the first discipline, the swim. They all swam to their very best. The children’s transition for the cycle ride was faultless and all managed their cycle aspect really well. Then came the run - the previous two disciplines were beginning to take effect, but everyone soldiered on.

After the three events we had twelve tired, but very proud young people.
